The Fool´s Journey

The FOOL´s JOURNEY is not a show, It´s an ORACLE for EVERYBODY...

The Fool’s Journey Project creates interactive performance pieces, aiming to establish contemporary oracles based on the Major Arcana of Tarot. It is also an open collective of creatives, opening new collaborations for each production. The cross-cultural performance-art project consists of a series of performances, including happenings, immersive art experiences, walking acts, Tarot-reading pieces and shadow theatre plays.

The project draws its name from the archetypal journey that the Fool takes through the Major Arcana of the Tarot until s*he reaches the final realisation, becoming ONE with the World (arcane XXI). Each Tarot card shows a particular stage of the journey, while the World card represents both the final destination and the map to get there. We invite you to embark on the journey with us and navigate this website using the compass. Each cardinal point is linked to an element of the Tarot and an archetypal instance. Enjoy the journey!

Fusion between art & spirituality
In order to bring Tarot cards to life we develop a strong performative language that combines ancient spiritual practices, like core-shamanism, with contemporary artistic expression. Shamanic drumming and power dances allow us to induce collective experiences of trance through sound and movement. Enabling audiences to see beyond the ordinary.
Interdisciplinary & Experimental Framework
The project fosters an ongoing collective creative process, encouraging collaboration across diverse art forms and beyond. In our pieces we combine elements of rite, ceremony, improvisation, physical theatre, shadow puppetry, walking circuits and site-specific installation.
Fusion between Art &Life
Our performances go beyond traditional artistic boundaries offering a space for catharsis and transformation, dissolving the barrier between performers and audience. We practice art as a service by addressing personal and collective questions, reflecting real life stories.

Our performances are always an experiment, an interactive playground, a game, addressing all senses. We invite our audience to experience their own and unique journey through Tarot.
